W8 - BEN FORM QUERY

Hi all,

Quick question, how long is the W8 form valid for? My understanding is that it is valid for 3 years from the date of my signature subject to other conditions (no updates to current form, no other changes to Tax laws etc). If nothing has changed then I was under the impression the form was valid for 3 years. Today, I have been informed it is 2 years (by Zazzle support) but in Zazzle's help section, it says 3 years. Does anyone know which one it is please?

Ah, thank you for your reply. That's what I thought...I'm very confused and worried that I will never receive my payments. I messaged Zazzle Support back with a screenshot showing 3 years but no reply yet. My payment for this month is being held back because I saw a message in my account settings asking me to update my payment settings. I did this on Friday when I saw the message. I then learned this takes 30 days to process so no payment for me this month. Then I was told my W8 form was out of date as it's only valid for 2 years but it says on Zazzle Help that it's 3 years...so confused now.

@Happy_Gal correct! the Zazzle Help articles should always be the more accurate source of information.

Thank you. The good news is that my payment came through this morning so I was really happy. It does still say pending on my account but I'm sure this will turn to cleared soon. Thanks for the update about the W8 Form. If there's anything I need to do, I'm happy to get straight on it...just need to know if there is anything I have to do. Thanks again!
