Occasionally, I cannot get the intended view for a product. (Mug)

Most of the time I don’t have a problem getting the intended view for a product. However, occasionally, it seems to want to stay on a default view, which is not advantageous to my image. I go to my store, I go to my products. I do the pulldown menu where it says actions under the product, I checked the little box there, I don’t know if I have to, I choose edit, and then I choose Merchandising, then choose ‘Options’. I have tried clicking on the product and the different angles will come up on the left side, and I can go through them, but nothing highlights them and after I choose the way I wanted to look and go back. It’s still the same default view. I have changed my browsers from desktop to Mobile back-and-forth.

You say you have chosen the view you want ... When I click on my new choice of view it then shows in the active page. I click "OK" at the bottom of that page. On the next page, I click the "I have the right ... " box and then hit the "Done" button at bottom of this page. It took a few seconds this time, but the view changed on my back-end. (probably will take a bit longer to update in the storefront).

Is it showing the wrong view all the time, or just from within a collection? If it's just wrong inside the collection, then it's a known bug. The workaround is to remove it from the collection and then add it back from the store backend my products list (not from the individual product page.)
