Good morning,

For the first time, I'm doing vinyl stickers, and I'm a little confused about something.

Sometimes, when I put an image on the sticker, the sticker has some "bubbles" around it. They are on the final product. Some don't have it, but others do. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. If you look at the sticker on the book, you can see the "bubbles" (for want of a better word) on the sides. Why are they there? Can I get rid of them? Thanks so much!

It looks like the item you've linked to is just the blank... I can only think that there's something that wasn't entirely erased that is still on your background. It may be so light you cannot really see it, but there enough that the program is picking it up. Check your image in what ever software you are using by using a select tool like the 'magic wand' in Photoshop, set to a fairly low tolerance, on the background of your image. I'll bet there are some holes in the selection right where your bubbles are.

I thought of that as well. So I did go back to the program and there is nothing in the background, not even slightly so I'm at a loss.

That certainly looks like stray pixels in the image. I get that sometimes while still in PS, not noticeable until I go to add a drop shadow or stroke and then those weird little bits show. What I do is add a solid black layer beneath it so I can see any stray bits and quickly erase. Then I change the black to yellow or other to check for darker strays.

If you are in Photoshop the other thing you can do is in the layers panel, fx>stroke. Add a stroke of maybe 5 pixels. It outlines the stray pixels so you can erase them. Then remove the stroke effect.

Another Photoshop method: Apply an adjustment layer, choosing contrast. Bring the contrast to its extremes and it'll show tiny blobs and the lightest of shadows and smears.
