1099 Information Needed for Tax Purposes

I always applied my earnings to purchases. How will I be able to receive a 1099 for 2024 tax purposes. Please help.

The amount of your earnings spent is no different from the amount of regular income you spend. You've earned X-amount at Zazzle. That's what will be on your 1099. You can't deduct what you've spent on cards or whatever from earnings anymore than you can deduct the shirt you bought out of regular income. It's not the same as deducting mortgage interest or whatever.

So far as I know, Zazzle has never made electronic copies of tax documents available. They always come in the mail. And no, I haven't seen anything yet.

One year, I did my income taxes early and simply took the amount I'd earned that showed in my Zazzle earnings to fill in the 1099 info on my taxes, knowing it would be the exact amount on the 1099 when it came--which it was.

So, you'll receive the 1099 in couple days, but even if something gets screwed up, you can still do your taxes.

No worries.
