Is this a new store setting? re: cross-domain tracking

Just noticed this in advanced store settings: ■ Enable cross-domain tracking (optional)

Is this a new setting or have I just never noticed it before? My first instinct is to set to 'enabled' but are there any pros and cons to enabling that I might not be aware of?

Cross-domain Tracking
There is an optional checkbox to enable cross-domain tracking. Check this box only if you are using the same Google Analytics ID on a website that points to products in your Zazzle Store. This will ensure that Google will track traffic from your own website as well as your Zazzle Store. If you do not use Google Analytics on a website outside of Zazzle.com, you do not need to check this box.
