Has The Crop Tool Changed Again?

I went to use the crop tool in the design area and this is what came up. Has Zazzle reverted to the old crop tool we had before? It only happened on some images and not all of them. Could it be the old images I used the old crop tool on or could this be another test? I'm super confused.

I wish we could have the option of which tool to use. The current tool is great for cropping photos, but horrible for cropping artwork.

The option to choose would be great. I looked and the products that had the old cropping tool were just made in January 2025, so they weren't that old.

The old cropping tool made it so much easier to crop placeholder images. I just cropped a placeholder image using the old cropping tool and I can still use the aspect ratio, increase or decrease the size and undo any changes and revert back to the original image.
