I think the new letterpress offering is a great idea! Can someone explain to me how the colors work? I tested it out on my design, but nothing shows up. I know I'm missing something. Any help?

The video and training guide explain it clearly, but in a nutshell, the letterpress layer works similarly to the foil layer on the foil cards. Black shows up, and white hides.

The email from Zazzle indicates "Please note that Zazzle Letterpress Products will remain a restricted product to select Creators only, similar to our Embossers, Foil Napkins, and Afridrille products."
Perhaps you can request Zazzle provide you with access to the Letterpress products the same way you would for those other restricted access products.

in the design tool you have three sections to selection. First one is "deboss" which is there you add the text or frame or whatever you are using to have color.

Then the "front" and then the "back". Once you choose something in deboss, you get to select only the colors they offer before you post for sale. Took me a hot minute to figure that out myself.

Embossing, die-cutting, and foil are basicly Letterpress processes. Can not be done with offset or inkjet or digital.

Letterpress, embossing and foil use raised type stamped/pressed into the paper.

Thanks, everyone. Since I first posted here, I have changed the design on my Letterpress card to be a Save-the-Date. It is currently under review. I hope the review process doesn't take as long as some of the other items I have that have been under review for a few years. I am excited to design more!
