Oh sure, we can allow zazzle to sell our stuff with permission, but why isn't there a proper integration method for building a proper Amazon Seller account/Zazzle seller account???

Amazon hag a giant audience/buyer traffic presence, that would benefit both Zazzle and us if we could do this.

Is it just too much of a hassel to do integration?

Joni

I remember when Zazzle integrated with Amazon years ago, and it honestly wasn’t the smooth, high‑traffic opportunity people imagine. A lot of us had our designs stolen during that period. by outside Amazon sellers who scraped the listings and re‑uploaded our artwork on their own stores. I had several products taken with serious copyright violations, and getting them removed was a headache. After going through that, I personally would never want Zazzle to integrate with Amazon again in the same way.

The idea of tapping into Amazon’s huge audience sounds great on paper, but the reality is that Amazon is one of the easiest places for POD designs to get copied. Once your artwork hits that marketplace, it can be duplicated within hours, and the enforcement process is slow and inconsistent. Unless someone has registered trademarks and the time to constantly monitor Amazon, it becomes a full‑time job just trying to protect your own work.

As for why there isn’t a proper Amazon Seller to Zazzle Seller integration today, it’s not just a matter of flipping a switch. Amazon requires strict product data formats, UPC codes, fulfillment guarantees, and customer‑service standards that don’t match how print‑on‑demand works. Zazzle’s entire model is built around customization and variable production times, which doesn’t fit neatly into Amazon’s system. Even if Zazzle built a full integration, creators would still face the same risks we dealt with before.

So yes, Amazon has massive traffic, but it also comes with massive theft. For those of us who lived through the last integration, the downside outweighed the benefit. If Zazzle ever revisits Amazon, I hope they do it with real protections in place, but based on past experience, I’m not eager to see our designs pushed back into a marketplace where they were copied so easily.

You can create an Amazon Merch account and sell items there yourself using the same designs you’ve created for Zazzle. You have to apply; and getting approved to sell is tricky. You also have to market your products yourself. I know that Amazon just reduced the amount that designers can make, much like Zazzle did.
