tiling multiple images together

Is there a way to tile multiple images together? An image + type would be nice too. Have tried eveything, searched the forums, am lost. Thanks.

You have to group the images/text, then you can tile the group. I don't think you can have multiple tiled layers so that's the only way I know of to do it.

You now can, but there is at least one caveat - it doesn't work with .svg files. To make a multiple image (or image and text) tile, lay out all of you elements the way you want them to look, select all of them and group them. You may now tile that group layer.

Thank you both. The "group" icon is always grayed out and not accessible for me. I have jpgs, tiffs and pngs. I guess none of those will work? bummer

No... all of those work. Have you selected more than one layer? Group will be grayed out if you only have one layer selected. Shift and click to select multiple layers.

Can anyone please help???? I have selected both layers but the Group option is greyed out and if I right click I don't have the group option on the flyout menu. I have a customer who wants gift wrap on a roll and this is precisely why I only sell the sheets. So frustrated 😞

@HydrangeaBlue You don't right click in the design tool. Grouping won't work if one layer has already had the tiling option applied. Check to see if one of your layers is already tiled and change to none. Then select both layers (shift click) and the group option should be available

Then tile the group
