Links to a different product

In my product description I want to include a link to a similar product - a link the customer can simply click on to get to that product. Have pasted a link in one of my product descriptions but it doesn't allow for simply clicking on it. Feel sure there is a way to do this but haven't figured out how. Appreciate advice.

You can't put live links into a product description @LloydCain-1957

Suggest you create a collection and put that (and the similar products) into it. It will appear at the bottom of the product page (I believe a collection needs at least 5 products in it (I could be wrong - it could be 4) to show. *takes time for the site to index - so don't expect an immediate result*

You can always add 'check out my collection' to highlight the other product.
