How do I add a centered small dot in between names?

Hi,

I've seen designs where there is a centered dot ( not very big) added in between names on an invitation but I can't figure out how to make it myself. Can someone please share the process? It's not a period, because it lines up with the center of the text. Basically, it's used as a divider. I can't add a small circle element, because customer's name lengths vary, and it may not end up between the two names. Help! TIA.

[Alt] key + the number 7 gives you the basic bullet.

I tried that and it's not working. I simply hold down the ALT key and then 7? Do I do this right in the design tool text box or somewhere else and copy and paste? I tried it in Notepad and Word as well and got nothing. I don't have a separate number pad on my laptop, just the numbers above the letters. Does this matter?

Hi,

I just figured it out. I have to open the on-screen Windows keyboard (Win + Ctrl + O), enable the numeric keys by clicking on the OPTIONS key, then select the ALT key and the number 7 in the numeric keypad area of the on-screen keyboard and TA DA! 😊

For Windows users, press down the Alt key and type 0149, then release the Alt key.

I create the text—with bullets or glyphs—in Microsoft word and then I paste it into the Zazzle Design tool. Works great, and I don’t have to remember the keyboard shortcuts.

yes, forgot to mention that it is 7 on the numeric keypad ... but you found the onscreen menu -- congrats!

If you have Windows, there's a little tool called Character Map, that has that dot. I just copy and paste from that. (I use it so much I pinned it to my bottom toolbar on my computer for easy access.)
