Export vs Save As

Hi All : ) I am wondering if when I am finished editing a design, should I use Export As or Save As. I just don't want to include metadata with the image file. Thanks so much! Cheryl

Thank you, Sara. : ) I use Photoshop Elements. Maybe I should have also asked if it is recommended to take out the metadata before listing on pod sites. If not, that would be great: one less thing to worry about.

The way that I would test this, is that I would export an image with metadata attached. Then I would upload to Zazzle and use it on a product. Then I would download the image from the product page. I would open that image in my photoprocessing software and see if the metadata was retained or not.
