Must collections be in a store?

Can I have free-standing collections not linked to a store?

I currently have 2 stores that are pretty niched down, with antique/vintage-inspired designs. These stores are where I want my focus to be. I have a few designs I made before I started on Zazzle that are very minimalist/modern. I'd love to offer these designs on Zazzle, but I don't want to have to go through the process of creating and maintaining another store right now. I don't have enough designs to make the 10 required collections and I want to stay focused on creating for those stores.

@HeatherB When you create a collection - they have to have a store attached but you don't have to have it attached to your store's collections.

Once a collection is created - - click on the tabs at the top right where it says 'Your Stores' and deselect the store that it is attached to then click save.

That in theory should take it out of your store's collection list but still be searchable and in your profile collection page and should also be searchable in the marketplace

(disclaimer - I have not tried this so can't really say 100% that it would work 😂)

Again - if nothing changes immediately - wait the obligatory 72 hours and see
