1) I am new to Zazzle. I created a Store and a design, but can't sell because the "sell it" option is not clickable. According to support it is because I used a Zazzle font. Why are there options available in design if we can't sell the design we are creating? Is it better to create elsewhere like in Canva then upload to Zazzle product?

2) I don't know if my Store/acct is setup correctly. On the admin/acct settings side I do not have "Creator Account" options, like setting royalties, as I saw on a video by Detour Shirts. Maybe I missed a setting.

I think you must be misunderstanding... the fonts are not off limits to designers.. And you should use the Zazzle design tool, at least to finalize your products, otherwise your designs are not going to be easily customizable, and that is the main draw over other POD sites..

There are some options that, because of licensing, are only available to direct customers. Those are "icons" and "backgrounds".

Regarding 2) ….In your account settings, under earnings, you absolutely have to fill out all of the payment info. You might want to check those settings to make sure everything is entered.

I don't know what product it is, but if it's stationery, you need to enable the envelope. As you've been told, if you use icons or backgrounds that aren't yours, the sales button won't be enabled either.

This is the reply I received from Support, which doesn't make any sense "Thank you for contacting Zazzle Customer Care! I can see you have used Zazzle fonts in the design. If you use any Zazzle elements or other designers elements then you will not get the sell it option. "

I put my own design/image and added Zazzle text to image, onto a luggage tag.

I don’t know what “not allowed to use Zazzle fonts” means, but they also mention elements—which includes backgrounds and icons. Did you use either of those elements? If so, you need to delete them in order to sell your products.

No elements used. My original image was one I created using AI. That is what I uploaded to Zazzle then added Zazzle text to it.

Did you use one of the text ‘pairings’ or ‘decorated’ offering perhaps? Those are also direct to customers only. You need to enter a general text field, choose a font and make it a template.
If you’re using the mobile interface, it’s a bit confusing… but ignore all the stuff that comes up when you select add text and just type what you want into the box.

@leisuretime4you I have a little time (my laptop is still uploading my video). Let’s start with giving us your store name etc. - either here or on the Facebook group. Do NOT share anything vital (like login info etc.), just the basics. First off - did you assign your design to your store?

Ok, here I can only post one. On the desktop version you would see something like “create your own”. I might recall it now incorrectly but something along those lines. On mobile you can’t see it (see screenshot). What are you using to post to Zazzle? It’s all the way down at the product page.

I think that was my problem. I created the design within my acct, but not within my store. So will have to start again.
