Move Products

I created some products in my old [Store 1]. Then decided to create [Store 2] as products are for different markets. How do I transfer the products to the new store? Or change the product store?

I know I can share collections with multiple stores but this does not add the products to products tab for [Store 2].
It just shows Whoops! Something went wrong. 404. Not a good look.

Zazzle also wants me to create products for this store I was going to create them all on Store 1 and display on store 2 but due to this limitation I will just create them on store 2. Before i do I would like to transfer these.

Any help appreciated

Doing so requires republishing the products to the new store. ie, creating a new product. To do so you open the edit on a product, close it and then click the sell it button on the product page. On the post product for sale page, select the new store. Click the I have the right to... and the new product will be published in the new store. You would then delete the product form the old store so you do not have a double listing across 2 stores.

Note: Doing so "erases" any history, sales or views, for the "old" product. The product will start from the beginning in the new store. This is not a big deal for products that have not sold, as long as you are sure no one is promoting them. For products that are selling, moving them may stop sales as they are now a different product that has to fight for its place in the Z MP and in internet land. Plus, if you have promoters and you move the product, their links will not work any longer.

How do I close a product? I don't see that option.

There is not an actual "close a product" option. Since you will not be making any changes to the product, just open the product with the "blue edit design button", push the done button, inside the design area (that's what is meant by close a product) and then republish the product to the new stop.
