1. SELECT Camera Icon

2. UPLOAD your image

3. Highlight your image then select the LINK icon

4. Copy then PASTE your link into the URL field

5. Select OK

The following warning may or may not apply when you LINK an image, but does apply when you simply post an uploaded image. Keep in mind that any private data you have attached to an image, such as

YOUR NAME
YOUR ADDRESS
YOUR PHONE
YOUR WEBSITE
TIME YOU TOOK PHOTO
LOCATION GPS COORDINATES

May be viewable to anyone reading these public forums after they download your image with the download button and open in a program like Photoshop.

where do they find this information Windy, I've never seen anything like this before? How does this info become attached to the image?

When someone takes an image with a phone, GPS info is added if the phone owner has set things up that way. And in the case of serious photographers, using "real" cameras, such info can be added by the camera, from GPS to name of photographer, to copyright data and more, phone number, tags, all kinds of info. Even for older cameras which do not do not have the ability to apply the info, the photographer may have added all or some of this info in a photomanagement tool such as Lightroom. All this info is called "metadata" and is attached directly to the photo and travels with the photo. Anyone who uses Lightroom or Photoshop will know how to read this metadata using one of these programs or something similar. Many images do NOT have this kind of data, and many serious photographers will know to "strip the metadata" before uploading an image to a website. Also, certain websites will strip all that metadata as you post . But I downloaded a few images here in this forum and found the data attached to those images. In that case, nothing personal had been attached to the photos. But we should all be aware of the fact that our images may have some of our personal data attached to them.
