Windows 10 File Explorer Question

I recently got a new computer, which unfortunately is Windows 10. (I'd love to stay on 7 forever, LOL!) Among the features I dislike is the way Windows File Explorer previews images (photos, graphics, etc.). On Windows 7, if you select an image, at the bottom there's a small pane which displays things like the image size, the file size, ratings, etc. Is it possible to get that on Windows 10? It was much faster and easier than having to hover over each image to see that information! Even better would be if that information would show up right underneath the name of the image, but since I didn't have that on Windows 7, it's no big deal if it isn't possible. (Like Adobe Bridge does.)

From inside a folder, select the View tab and then Details pane.

That gives you a Details panel on the right with a small preview of the image, its dimensions & byte size, and any EXIF data attached. You can drag the panel to whatever width you like.

I can't remember exactly how it works in Windows 10, but I'm using Windows 11 and I think it's the same, or at least very similar. If I hover the mouse over an image preview it gives you the size and dimensions (you have to wait a second or two), and you can also right click and choose properties to see more details. I didn't know about the right hand panel with details - that appears to work in Windows 11 too, so thanks @ColsCreations

I'm willing to bet that a bunch of this stuff is configurable, but I'm generally too lazy to go research it and figure out how to configure it!

Edited: Never mind- I see what you mean! I was looking at Details VIEW, not the Details Panel! I'd prefer it at the bottom, but at least this saves me extra clicking, or waiting for the Hover details to appear. Thank you!

Yeah, right clicking takes extra steps, and I don't like waiting a few seconds for the hover details to appear. Clicking was instant.

BTW if you're thinking of upgrading to Windows 11 in the near future, don't. Windows 11 Explorer is painfully slow.

Thank you for the warning. My new computer actually came with Windows 11, and I paid somebody to put Windows 10 Pro on there instead. So I have no intention of "upgrading" to 11 until I'm forced to do so!
