Attention moderators: gift boxes discontinued?

Attention moderators: gift boxes discontinued?
while doing some product optimization, found lots of gift boxes ( in my shop sections) marked in red—“product has been discontinued.” There is no drop-down to change to another size or color. So are they discontinued, and should be deleted?

I checked in blank products, and create your own, they’re still available to create new products, and in the view other products, they are still available to purchase.

This is crazy making. Either they are discontinued or out of stock, z please choose a lane, I’m getting dizzy and feeling (pun alert) boxed in.

Which ones? The wooden gift/jewelry boxes work normally here, just some colors are temporarily sold out.

Just checked again this morning and wooden gift boxes in my shop are all marked discontinued , but under other products you might like, wooden gift boxes from other sellers are available for sale, and under blank products wooden gift boxes still available to add and sell. But then tried yesterday to use a blank product to create a wooden gift box, that one in my shop came up again as discontinued…

i guess the algorithm is having a moment, but only for the wooden gift boxes in my shop….

Moderators, can I please get an explanation, if this is an aberration,

Mods, please fix this, seems to only be affecting wooden gift boxes in my shop.

Sorry to hear about this issue. It looks like the regular wooden gift boxes are okay, but the magnetic gift boxes are showing as discontinued. I'm checking in with the team now to see what the status of those boxes should be.

Hi Mark, thanks for responding, just sent you a link and further info via chat. From what I can deduce, it seems to only be 24 boxes marked discontinued in one section of my shop, gift boxes in other sections seem to only be marked out of stock , but you have better tools to check for wonkiness.
Just to point out that there does not seem to be a way to tell whether the boxes are magnetic or not. Also, there is no way to transfer, and even if I did that, I lose all the clicks/views for each box. Sad.

When I send emails to support I get no reply at all. I sent emails about a different issue at least 3 dates starting June 3, got no reply at all. I sent to both pro designer and pro seller, I got no reply.

i have been waiting patiently on the forum since June 23 for a solution.

on June 24 Mark replied:’the magnetic gift boxes are showing as discontinued. I'm checking in with the team now to see what the status of those boxes should be. ‘ thank you for confirming….

To be clear in what I am asking—-Request that tech can change these to the regular/non magnetic closure temporarily out of stock boxes, since there is no option for me to do so. If I recreate or delete I will lose decent views and solds on 32 boxes. Please help. i just sent another email today June 27 to both pro designer and pro seller support with a list of links to the 32 discontinued wooden gift boxes in my shop.

Thank you for letting me know that chat regarding mods is defunct. As of January i was able to chat with mods, (I checked) when did that change, and why were we not told?
