Did any of you “foreigners” get your 1042-S form yet? Zazzle insists that we properly fill out the W8-BEN form but they don’t seem to have the same standard for themselves. Not only have they been getting my birth date wrong but now they entered the wrong status code. They got me as “U.S. Withholding Agent” (status code 02 Ch. 4) and “Corporation” (status code 15 ch. 3). Huh???

Thanks, I don’t think it’s a big deal on my end since I don’t use the form for my tax return. For previous 1042-S forms zazzle used code 16 (individual) for box 13f and box 13g was left blank
i have not even received my form

What status code number do you have in Boxes 13f and 13g ? They are on the upper right side of the form
@waterart my 2025 1042-s box 13f = 15 and box 13g = 2.
Last year’s 1042-s (2024) - box 13f was 16 and 13g was blank
pretty sure it’s just a snaffle by Z where they’ve accidentally put their status codes in our Boxes
Yup, that’s just like mine, I guess they messed up everyone’s form.
Mine is wrong too and it show a gross income in box 2 that is not even remotely close to what I earned in royalties.
I haven’t received mine yet.
I also received my documents, but they contained the wrong name and address. An amended version was later sent; however, it included changes to completely different sections than the ones I had requested.
Additionally, I have not been able to get in touch with anyone from the tax department. I have now contacted the W-8 team and hope to have better luck there.
The issue is that I have a filing deadline at the end of May, so this matter is becoming quite urgent. Could someone please assist me?

I have not received mine, last year i got in March.
They sent me another 1042-s with the correct code but birth date is still wrong, which it has been for years. It’s only a printed copy so don’t know if they actually amended it or not, I don’t care since I don’t use it for filing taxes anyway
I have now received 3 copies
