Adding Tshirts

I just began adding tshirts to my shop and there are so many types I don’t do I add the same design to a variety of shirts, for example put the same design on a men’s and on a women’s shirt or should I just put the design on one shirt and let the customer choose what they want from the product page? If I should be putting the design on just one tshirt which one should it be?

I’m not sure of the best way, but I generally use either the basic or American apparel tees- mostly women’s because my art is pretty girly- and then it kind of depends on what color shirt I think might look best.  Then I let the customer choose what other style they want. With the men’s basic tee there is a merchandising option that shows a man and a woman so it is more clear more options are available.

Good question! I agree with Malissa and do the same especially if it’s for a feminine design. If my design is more unisex I in the past I have tended to put it on a men’s shirt. Some folks prefer the roomier fit. I also like now having the option of the photo with the two models together. These are good for my designs that can be for anyone.
