Just wanted to share something helpful after my patriotic tablecloth prompt got flagged because of how AI safety systems work behind the scenes. A lot of us are using different tools right now: Whisk, Bing Image Creator, Midjourney‑style tools, etc. And here’s the important part: They all use very similar safety filters . So if one tool flags a keyword, chances are the others will too. AI being overly cautious
This is my prompt > create a mockup of this 52 x70 tablecloth show the flag on a table top, stripe on the sides. Use the exact image. The backdrop should be blurred 4th of July (red white and blue decorations) the tablecloth is the focal point. magazine quality and bright light<
Here’s what I learned:
DO say :
“patriotic tablecloth on a dining table”
“red, white, and blue decorations in the background”
“magazine-quality mockup with bright lighting”
“tablecloth is the focal point or feature ”
AVOID phrases like :
“4th of July celebration or 4th of July decorations blurred in background” (can be misread as political or protest imagery)
“American flag” (may trigger likeness or political filters)
“Independence Day party” (sounds like a rally to protest the AI)
“fireworks” or “sparklers” (can be flagged as unsafe)
Even mentioning “flag” or “stars and stripes” can confuse the system if paired with words like “crowd,” “event,” or “politician” even if you didn’t mean it that way. Keep your prompts focused on the product and setting. Skip anything that sounds like a political gathering, protest, or likeness of a public figure. And if you get flagged, don’t take it personally it’s just the AI being overly cautious.
