All grouped products suddenly vanish from results grid when selecting one of the alternative colors

First noticed this on the Christmas main page, but seems to be happening everywhere. 

When there are alternative color options, selecting one to see the preview (before clicking through to the product page) wipes the product, along with all of its grouped colors, from the page. 

I’m on a mobile device (android) so only confirmed the bug in desktop mode on mobile browsers (chrome and firefox)
