I’ve designed several Ground Coffee packages with matching Mugs. (Like a matching happy birthday ground coffee and mug.) Problem is, right now, these are delivered separately, I think it would be nice and also improve sales if the Gift Ground Coffee & Mug or Mugs could be in shipped in one package at the same time so customer receives them together.
So I suggest 2 things that I think would improve selling Ground coffee & mugs:
A check box at checkout so customer can choose for their Ground Coffee purchase & mug purchase to arrive at same time, such as “send in one package.”
When a customers puts a Ground Coffee in their “cart,” have a pop up that asks, “Would you like to add a mug?” Yes or No. If yes, then “continue shopping.”
I never thought of that. It is a great idea for marketing. I never really got into deigning coffee because it seems to have little need except if you make a good business look with text. The idea of both at once makes coffee a good option as a gift
Although we no longer are shown the maker info on these products, I believe the ground coffee comes from a different maker than the mugs. I googled it and learned the coffee is from a maker in Oregon. The mugs are printed at various locations which are determined by the delivery location of the customer. It’s not possible to send those 2 items together.
So what happens if the customer’s mug is not being printed in Reno, but in another location that is closer to the customer’s delivery address. Mugs are printed in more than one location.
Edited to add: I just read that the coffee packaging is printed at the the Oregon coffee facility. It would be too expensive to ship it from Oregon to Reno, then ship it again from Reno to the customer.
There are printing partners that specialize in printing and delivering multi-item gift packs, So, this idea is not out of Zazzle’s reach, Will they partner with them? Highly doubtful, since Zazzle won’t even offer customers comfort color tees and sweatshirts despite many requests from designers to add them to Zazzle’s product inventory.
