Always better to separate stores with a niche?

Is it always better to do this, or does it matter anymore as people generally search for products, so is it better to have them in a mixed store with a higher zrank rather than in a newer lower zranked niche store?

That decision is completely up to you. I prefer to have one shop that serves different niches. It’s less work for me.
