(Well, new to me as I rarely have reason anymore to peruse my Referral History.)
If you use a tracking code (tc=???) in the URL you share for your or anyone else’s product and get the referral, whatever you entered as the TC is shown in the Referral report. But I found tonight, that TC shown in the report is now a hotlink and if you click it you get this as default
“no results” here for me because I had no referrals using this particular TC this year which is what the default view is.
If you click “view all” it just boots you back to your main Referral History report page.
But if you change the Current Year to All-Time - poof! - you can now see every single time you earned a referral from a link using that particular TC! So I could see that years back when I was actively trying to promote a little bit, that I earned 45 refs from one particular place I was sharing to - because I had added that info to my TC. I would have thought 3-4 maybe, so this was a WOW, who-knew thing for me to see.
Anyway, I have no idea when Zazzle added this as report feature but it’s a really nice one. You can make your TC as generic (“my website”) or as specific (“Pin_Board_DatePosted”) as you want but this ability to sort successful referrals by personal tracking code used on the link you shared is awesome for those who do a lot of promoting and want to see exactly where their efforts are most paying off.
Since the change to the Ambassador Program, the jury is still out on whether TC’s work on a “clean” link for Self-Promos, but, if you are sharing anything with your RF# (CrossPromo), highly recommend including a TC in your URL so you can benefit from this report feature.
