I am having a few products where I add a background color and it fills in the white aspects of my image with that color as well. This Santa hat shows up with a white brim on all of my products from last year, but now when I transfer to a new product it takes on the color of the background. This hat brim should be white, not green.
The other place you can get this behavior is on T-shirts with the classic print process (no underlayment.) The inside of the red stars in this design are white, but the print process makes white transparent so if you choose a color other than white for the t-shirt, the center of those stars is not white, it’s whatever color the t-shirt is.
