I will be glad to follow your blog if you post a link here. I have been trying to maximize SEO on my brand new blog, by setting up all the key components. If you have tips on what works, or if you know how to make the most of the behind-the-scenes spots some of us may have missed, please chime in.
I followed you already but just remembered you have to manually add to the widget to select which followed bogs to show there. So yours show there now on my sidebar widget.
You are starting out the right way. I am still working on going back over old stuff to maximize my seo and it is a pain. I wish I would have known more about it in the beginning.
I followed you (and then accidentally unfollowed you, but fixed it!). Thanks so much for featuring my postcard! I just added back the followers gadget and it can be found by opening a blog post to see the sidebar and all the way at the bottom of the sidebar on both of my blogs. Links are the buttons with the logos in my signature.
I’ll happily follow anyone else who pops in this thread as well.
I have a blog it needs more love though from me been awhile thanks for reminding me! Will have to get my writing and blogging act back on track now… Lovely to have the opportunity to share thanks http://mylittleedenblog.blogspot.com/
Thank you for following me, Windy 🌼 I hope it is okay to join in on this thread and say that I, too, have recently added the Followers widget - and would be happy to follow all of you back 🙂 Thanks! https://zazzlefave.blogspot.com/
@ColsCreations@Windy I am assuming that you are blogging with the intent to get referrals, if not ignore me!
I’m wondering if putting the “blogs I follow” type widget is kind of a path away from your own blog and links and not the best for an affiliate type blog. A “leak” so to speak. My main blog is strictly for my own art and since I am in the promoter program I definitely want them to browse around there and hopefully click a link from there. (I get them occasionally and wish I could see where they clicked the link) That really goes for my blog for showcasing other products as well, though I will happily add a website link to the end of the post for a link share type thing. That is just my 2 cents on it.
I am blogging because if I post from my blog to Pinterest, my description will attach at Pinterest, which is not the case if I pin directly to Pinterest from Zazzle, because then I just get the Zazzle standard description. That’s the only reason for my blog.
I figure as long as I am doing a blog, I might as well try to do it well, and also have some fun with it. And I don’t mind leading potential shoppers off my blog, because I am only at Zazzle for fun and to learn. But you make a super good point. Anyway, if you are asking if I am okay with you not linking to my blog, I am one hundred percent okay with that!
I was just kind of giving food for thought since we all have different goals and objectives. I agree that if I’m going to have a blog, I might as well do my best to make it good.
I love trying to support and give help where I can because I have gotten so much support and help from others on the forums and off. I am still just figuring things out as I go (because I have a tendency to jump in and learn later) and I find discussions like these helpful to get insights I might not have had otherwise.
Sadly we can’t edit web addresses when we need to. I have moved my blog to a new address. I would be delighted if those of you who followed my first blog as a result of this post would pop in and give me a follow at the new place.
Thanks so much for putting me on that widget! I recently had to port my entire blog to here, and I wonder if you would mind popping in to remove the old link and replace it with this one. https://podpostcard.blogspot.com/
@carulcards It certainly is okay! By the way, I recently had to port my entire blog to a new address, and I wonder if you would mind popping in to remove the old link and replace it with this one. https://podpostcard.blogspot.com/
