Today I was looking at a lot of products and it brought up a bot test. It said to press ad hold to prove I wasn’t a bot. This happened a couple times. The last time I pressed it , it showed a checkmark but then turned into three dots that wouldn’t go away. I refreshed several times. No help. I couldn’t even open an email link to get an answer. I turned off phone, cleared cache, and still no help. I am locked out of my account on my phone and can only work on Zazzle if I’m home and use my computer. I understand we don’t want bots viewing stuff at hyper speeds or whatever else they do but I’m not that fast. And I wasn’t just viewing, I deleted some things, modified a few, stopped and looked at another person’s products because I liked them. And it’s always my finger pressing the d**m button and it fails.
Okay, rant over. I’m home and will be working on my computer to make up for lost time. I’ll be up till three in the morning but I’m not letting the turkeys get me down. See? I’m exhausted and using 1970s expressions. Oh well I’ll just hang in there. Ugh.
Please fix this issue! All weekend long, I have had to prove that I am not a bot over and over again. It’s still happening to me today and is really annoying.
I’m sorry to hear you were having issues logging into your account. If the issues persists, please contact our customer service team - support@zazzle.com
I worked on computer for a few hours and checked at midnight and 1:00. At 2:00 it worked. Maybe that’s midnight Zazzle time. That seems to be the magical reset hour. Got everything I wanted to do finished. It was a little frustrating but trivial considering all the time Zazzle has worked flawlessly for me. Thanks.
I don’t use app. I use browser. I did the cache clearing and on/off thing (many times) and logged out and in. Good suggestions but for anyone else who has this problem I just wanted to say it didn’t work and the midnight thing (Pacific) may be only solution. Thanks for your suggestions though.
i submitted a support ticket several days ago… i got a response that really made no sense asking for a screenshot of the issue. It seems support has you repeat your query twice as this happens every time I submit a ticket… to prove you are human maybe? Anyways i sent a screenshot of the press and hold page.
No further response.
As we are clearly legitimate creators, can we please look into why this is happening? When one creates a collection that has numerous products with the same theme, and where design transfer is used frequently, the system should not be assuming we are a bot
I am creating a collection that of course involves multiple products of similar design. The system should not be locking me out for this. I reached out to customer service a couple weeks ago and the issue was never resolved
Not sure about this thread, since it is pretty old, but I will post this here anyway. The I’m Not a Robot, press and hold…uh, it’s disrupting designing. Nearly finished with the design, and as I’m about to publish it, this “robotic thing” comes up - not that I don’t mind it once after logging in. But to be in the middle of a design and almost finish it after “fiddling with the thing” for abt 30 minutes, is way off kilter and pretty bad timing. Scr*w the nuts a wee bit tighter and adjust that AI conformity to allow us to at least finish designs. We don’t work here for free! Time is $$, and this is really going to start irritating the masses if this continues happening. Let alone, shrink the customer base, again.
I’m on the latest Chrome, I am human, want a blood sample?, fingerprint?, credit report?
I received the same message last night in the middle of designing. I couldn’t understand how adjusting the border on a coffee cup was interpolated by a properly coded algorithm as “spam.”
Pressing and holding the challenge button didn’t resolve the issue. I wan’t able to resume work for about an hour.
I absolutely agree, it terribly disrupts work. Today I received such CAPTCHA message 5 times in the middle of making a new product. And I only made a few products. It’s very annoying.
Just wanting to say this: Scott is sending a new link to this “resolved” thread. But, it’s a two-fold problem. The bot for most of us is interrupting designing. It is not even saving our designs, as they come right in the process of (towards the end) of making a great design. For the love of all anything good, get the bot to stop doing this! Or start having it save things, before messing them up!!!
Same problem here. This time just working on a postcard and nothing else. Was almost finished and I’m locked out. Gonna go eat supper tu.rn off computer … not phone this time. Needed to restart for an update anyway. Good luck everyone. Hopefully bot bug will be gone when I return later.
This “Press and Hold” nonsense is a serious glitch that HAS to be stopped! I can see maybe asking for it when we first log in, but repeatedly interrupting our designing with it is RIDICULOUS!!! There is no legitimate reason for it to pop up after we are already logged in, especially when we are in the Design Tool, so this is definitely a technical issue. PLEASE fix it!
