“Hi creator, I have a question about your product: https://www.zazzle.com/be_my_godparents_proposal_photo_invite-256248586779611499”
“Hi there! I recieved the godmother cards today and they look so beautiful! Thank you so much. I was wondering if its possible to have these re printed with the writing in the body of the msg a bit larger? I paid the extra $5 for review and thought that might have been picked up on the review. But im happy to pay again to have them re printed if that would be ok? Even if the cards need to be slightly larger to get the writing bigger? Let me know what you think. Thanks! Customer’s Name.”
A few things here, she already received her order. I’m thinking of just sending her a link with the design and text on larger paper, of course. But, when did customers start paying $5 to do reviews? And, did customer service get the review? And are they already modifying this product for her?
She might be referring to the Worry-Free Design Review and Delivery at check out and thought that since the text was small that it would have been caught during that process and then made larger and printed before shipping.
I looked at the card and 12pt font isn’t typically considered small, but customer thinks it is too small for their expectations. If you publish the design on a 5x7 card, that will increase the font that should satisfy the customer. That’s what I’d do.
Also, if she paid for the Worry-Free Design Review and Delivery you might want to direct her to Zazzle customer service because something like that might be covered in that program. Here is the link to learn about it: https://www.zazzle.com/returns scroll past the basic returns section to the worry free section.
Hey, I’m so glad you found this page! I was beginning to believe that this “worry free” deal was no longer a thing. One reason was because it used to be in the Zazzle Plus section, a few months ago. I know it was there because I was promoting it. Then all of a sudden, they took that and have now made it into Zazzle Plus or Zazzle Plus Premium…with no wording whatsoever about the Worry Free parts. They did leave the “free trial” lingo though.
So, now it’s part of an all new Return Policy system. Things like this seem to never go into the News Section. We always have to just come across it or figure it out. And, that’s what I don’t understand about how this “New” Zazzle works.
Thanks Susan! That’s exactly what I was hoping for. Imagine now, every time the customer pays for this “worry free” coverage, because in my mind that’s what it is. We as the designers need to provide the links for something they want? Even though we have no idea they’re paying for it during their check-out?
I’m going to send her a link, and perhaps she’ll buy it again. I’ll get my next royalty out of it, and perhaps a 15% referral. And she’ll lose her $5 coverage, I assume. This part, idk, what are we to do? Obviously, she found it easier to contact the designer instead of customer service about it. Hmmm, very interesting situation!
I have given her the option, of using my link to the enlarged item, and also told her if she wants to try getting it under this worry free plan, it seems like she’s getting free reprints and free shipping. I have let her choose the option that best suites her. Ultimately she’s paid for it, so it’s her choice. I really had no idea that there was a worry free plan until now.
I know it is strange and you would have never known except that she mentioned it in her message to you. I put an item in my cart a little while ago and right across the top it says this worry free blip and how much it costs. Plus it is already checked to on so it adds a cost to your cart right off the bat. If customers don’t want it, they have to manually click to shut it off.
That’s why I had to ask, because this was all new to me. At some point, I saw the Zazzle reviews were done by official Zazzle reviews, and thought, this is different than that, and doesn’t make sense. It’s about wanting a change to the product and design part, but in a “I paid for this” sounding way.
I hope this works out for all of us, and hopefully if this is the customer’s reaction - to chat with us instead of waiting for customer service. We just deal with what becomes of it. We can only do so much, and in this case it may be an easy fix. Hopefully though, they’re all this easy.
It sounds like the customer may have assumed Zazzle’s worry free review could read her mind and know that she thought the text was too small. In any case, it’s all about solving the customer’s problem, so giving her the option to order a larger size print on the 5x7 card seems to work.
Well, I also think some customers won’t hesitate to get it done now or wait on customer service to help them. That’s why I’m really kind of glad Zazzle is giving customers this option. 1. Zazzle gets $5 not to have to deal with simple tasks like this, and 2. It gives us another chance at making another sale and/or a referral (if that’s at all possible anymore lol).
It is interesting though, because the cost goes up with the products you add to your cart. This order may have been $5, but when I place 100 wedding save the dates in my cart, the price for worry free goes to $19.99. If I also add to my cart 100 wedding invitation, 100 rsvp cards, and 100 detail cards, the price for worry free is now at $39.99. So this is pretty interesting.
That’s wild! Thank you for telling us. But, maybe they’re trying to resolve an issue that I’ve noticed. The 100% satisfaction guarantee, that I thought was always very generous. I will admit that I think customers could try to abuse this, especially in this economy. So, I see it fixing a potential problem in that regard.
I honestly think it’s the ‘Moments’ feature that is the biggest problem (followed by templates, straight to design tool, and a little of this haha). It’s confusing that it comes before you can even see the design, and feels a bit like a ‘give me all your info now’, I think some customers might find it invasive. It should really be a ‘do you want me to save this information for next time’ AFTER they work on the design (like Chrome does).
But I have seen an increase in reviews mentioning this feature and how they paid extra for the check and still had an issue. Which is a bummer. Maybe it’s just not clear enough for the customers and what they are actually checking.
I have now read the info about this new Worry-Free Design Review and Delivery program. If participants have a 60-day return window instead of a 30-day return window, does that delay the clearance of purchased items and payouts for us? Yes or no?
