Can I change a Collection name without breaking links I've previously used on social media?

I’m looking to organize my store and want to make changes to the Collection names, but before I do, I want to ensure I don’t break any links that I might have previously shared or used in social media.  I ask because when we copy a collection link it has the collection name in it.  Thank you in advance for the assistance.

@designme   Pretty sure you can change the name and it shouldn’t break any links. You can even promote with just the collection ID number eg https://www.zazzle.com/collections/119381969132716774

Thanks for your response Sara.  I have two thoughts:

  1. I guess then it matters where you grab the link from.  The screenshot below is the link I usually grab on the collection management page.  As you can see it has the collection name in it.  This is why I’m concerned that if I change the collection name it might break old links.

  2. If I don’t use the link with the rf=#### then I won’t get a referral if someone uses that link.  Is that right?

@designme you can just remove the text and re-add the referral rf. YMMV whether you get the referral - they’re not guaranteed 😂 (depends on the user’s browser settings etc)
