Can’t download images from Media Manager using Safari on an iPad

I’ve been having trouble downloading product images from Media Manager using Safari on an iPad.  It looks like files are downloading according to the Safari download tab, but then the files are nowhere to be found. I rebooted and tried again and get the same result.  I was able to download successfully using Brave so it seems like the problem may be Safari related.  Naturally Safari is the browser I primarily use so if there’s a problem I’d love to see it fixed.  Anyone else having this issue?

@Zorinda  did you click on the little circle with the downward arrow at the top right of your iPad screen after you clicked on the download box? That’s where you actually save your download from. Done a quick screenshot as I’m just heading out but if you need me to explain more let me know and I’ll do when I get back.

Yes, I clicked on that button.  That’s what I referred to as the ‘download tab’.  I can see the files there.  The downloads should be either saved locally or to the cloud depending on the Safari setting.  I tried saving to my local iPad Files directory, to iCloud and Dropbox. Unfortunately it’s not saving to any of them.  Often rebooting cures weird issues like this, but that didn’t work. I was able to download files from other sites using Safari.  When I switch to the Brave browser the files save just fine.  There seems to be some kind of communication issue between zazzle and Safari.

I’ve been using the download of Zazzle images on my iPad since the beginning and never had any problem with it, so I don’t think this problem comes from Zazzle. If the files appear in the “download tab” of your safari top bar, it means they are currently downloading, what happens when you click on the magnify symbol on the right ? And are you sure that your local folder is not full or unreachable ?

I’ve always been able to successfully download files from Zazzle to my iPad or Dropbox or iCloud until now.  The size of my drives are non issues.  I usually download to Dropbox where I have well over half of my 2 terabyte allowance.  My iPad drive is only 1/3 full.  My iCloud is also 1/3 full.  All of those drives are reachable as I’m able to upload and download to/from every other site I use using Safari.  Only Zazzle is the issue on Safari. The Zazzle files look like they’ve downloaded but don’t land.

The only cases I had problems downloading from Zazzle was when the  list of pictures under the download part in safari was too long and I had to clear it, or occasionally restart safari, probably a cache memory problem. I suggest you have a look at this ( but what really surprises me in your case is that you have this issue only with Zazzle) : https://360-reader.com/ways-to-fix-safari-not-downloading-files-iphone-ipad-ios-ipados/

Yes, I’m having the same problem and it only started happening in the last few weeks. Now, when I download product images, I click on “view” instead of “download”, then I click the up arrow to “save to files”. It’s more steps but it seems to work for now.

I only tried to download files in the past couple of days and otherwise haven’t downloaded in ages.  This very well could be a weeks old issue as you’ve experienced and not one that just began when I tried.
