Whenever I try to check my chat, I receive a popup that wants me to enter my phone number to “verify” my account. Is this legitimately Zazzle or an external phishing attempt?

Definitely spam/scam! If it was a real Zazzle employee, you’d see the blue badge where the gray “zazzle user” badge is on your example.

I guess this new system hasn’t been 100% effective in blocking that stuff! Sigh.

Does this mean scammers are easily verifying their numbers as well? Kind of figured it would be easy for them to. Not sure how this whole “phone number verification” thing is actually going to keep spam down. Meanwhile, I can’t even use chat because I am not going to enter in my phone number, but the spammers seem to be using it quite well…
