There is a black mug I want to customize, but it will only offer personalization, and not a ‘Sell it’option. I have searched Black-Black mug in my search bar in my store, and I get nothing.

It won’t let you sell it because the product you referenced was posted for sale by another designer. (I frankly don’t understand why someone is allowed to post something for sale that just has a black background and nothing else, but that’s a different question.) In order to post something for sale you have to start from a blank mug: Create your own Mug | Zazzle You can put your own black background on it and then go from there.
