I have a store but want one with a new name to match my brand name. This apparently is the only way to rename a store- if you want your brand name to appear in the URL–Zazzle doesn’t let you simply change the name. Every time I get to the “CONTINUE” button, nothing happens. It’s long enough and no reason it shouldn’t go to the next page.
@ElleH I’ve just tested opening a new store and it created without any errors
What browser are you using? Are you on mobile or desktop? Apple or Windows?
Reasons could be is that name you want is already taken
When you enter a store name (I went with no spaces or underscores) a green “Available” should appear.
There is no “continue button” you enter the name - press create store and if the name is available - it creates a store.
If the green “Available” doesn’t appear - it means the name/url you want is already taken and you won’t be able to create a store with that store name
Designer’s create new stores to park those shop names and don’t publish any products to them so if you have previously done a search on “zazzle.com/store/fancynewbrandname” and nothing shows up - it could be that the URL has already been used and is hidden
You can change your Store Name without changing the url in your store settings
then press submit to save
But as you want a new store URL - this doesn’t help
If you have previously attempted to create a store - it could be saved in your account
go to your member account - stores - then use the drop down to show “All Stores”
It could be hiding there
Hope you manage to create a store successfully!
Figured it out. The trick was entering the new store name with no spaces. It would be a good idea if Zazzle actually mentioned this. In any case, I have the new store with the name I wanted to use,
