Can't Paste Images into Forum Posts

I’m no longer able to paste images into forum posts. This has been going on for several weeks now and I was hoping it would fix itself, but no luck. When I try to paste an image I just get a blank line. If I switch to the HTML view I can see that it pasted the following: 

<div id="tinyMceEditorCat_0" class="mceNonEditable lia-copypaste-placeholder">&nbsp;</div>

This is making it much more difficult to both report issues and to help other designers because the only way I can insert an image is to save it as a file and then upload it, where I used to be able to just grab a screenshot and paste it into a post.

Do I have some setting wrong or are other folks having the same trouble?

@Cat   I’ve been having this trouble too. @ColsCreations  gave me a really good tip.

Before you paste, open Camera Icon (insert photos) and Ctrl V into the grey space

Saves you having to save screenshots onto your computer.

Would really like the old way to come back (but like other things - that’s probably not going to happen)

@Cat  Congrats! You can also change the size of your screenshot. I normally choose Medium

Interesting. I don’t think anything has changed from our end, but perhaps our vendor ran some updates recently. I’m not accustomed to copy/pasting images into posts. In the past I’ve only uploaded the images in the standard manner (click/drag the image from my computer into the message body). That much still works. I’ll look into the copy/paste thing in a bit.
