changing royalty rates

How does it work if I change the royalty rates on all the products in a particular category, but then select certain products and change those royalties again? I know the new rates don’t go into effect until the 20th of the month, but will it pick up the second change, or just the first change?

For example, if I select all the products in my music home decor subcategory and change them to 10% royalty, but then decide that I want the keychains at 12%, will the keychains be set at 10% or 12% on the 20th of next month? For the bigger categories, I don’t want to have to select each product that I want to change- it’s quicker to change the whole subcategory, and then go back and change the few particular items.

@Connie  You could use the departments and drill down to your keychains before bulk editing

Bulk actions - Select all non discontinued - edit details - royalty - change- save

Whatever you change the products to last is the change that it will take

Say you did a 10% on all then did your keychains again at 12% - the keychains would stay at 12% as you edited them last

Thank you. I tend to forget about using the department tree to select only particular products.

So the last edited change is the one that sticks- that’s what I needed to know. thank you.

Hi!  Where do I find that?  I’ve hunted everywhere and can’t seem to find the Departments Section so I can bulk edit my products (Holiday Cards).  Thanks in advance!
