I don’t know if this has some link with the already existing masks and frames problems highlighted in other posts, but I’m now afraid to use circle frames for my creations, and I try to avoid them as much as possible. However this does not solve the problem. The circle frames have flat borders as if they were not circle but square, and I’m sure it was not the case initially:
I hope this is just a glitch in the selection and preview areas, but how could we be sure as designers ( and it’s the same question for customers) that the final product will be ok, with a real circle not flattened on its sides ?
There is definitely a glitch somewhere, because it happened with a curvy SVG shape that I created for a photo mask. As soon as I mask the photo, the curved edges get chopped off. I mentioned this already, but interesting to see that it’s happening with the readymade frames that Zazzle offers. Hopefully they can look into this.
There are many problems with masks and frames at the moment, and their resolution takes a very long time. For a platform where the photo customization of products by the users is one of the biggest advantage, this is a huge and very damaging problem, should be a top priority to work on from my point of view.
I have noticed that the frames have a flat edge in the preview images so I’ve been steering clear until this issue is fixed. Will it be a problem if I use my own shapes until then?
Hi. Heather. Just wondering if this issue is close to being resolved yet? Curved edge on top and sides of the arch frame look chopped off and flat in preview.
