Clear All

What is either the short cut for “clear all” or the actual place where that command can be found?

Find a blank spot on your design and a + sign cursor shows up instead of the pointer hand cursor. Right click and you’ll see choices Add background, Show Layers or Select All. Select All, then you can right click Copy or Delete.  Probably a shortcut command somewhere but I don’t know it.

Hi – thanks, but a follow-on question.  I have many designs that have no blank space – how does one access the “clear all” et al then?  Also, how did you figure this out – kudo’s to you!  It isn’t on the short-cut menu.

Drag your cursor over entire product, then click the trash can. This will delete everything except the background.

How did you and @CherryLane  learn this??  I’m impressed.

As I recall, the design program has always worked this way.

If you’re on a PC, then you can use ctrl+A to select everything and then hit your delete button on the keyboard (or trash icon.)  Only exception is if you have layers you need to first unlock.

By accident.  I wish Zazzle would have in-depth videos explaining all the little things in this new design tool that we have to dig around to find.  I’m still discovering things.
