Sometimes when I click on a signature a new page opens. Other times the forum is left in the dust and I’m on their page and lost the page I was reading where I was trying to offer help. Is there a way to make it so that everytime you click on a signature a new tab opens, and, your not taken away from the forum?
It depends on how the designer sets his/her signature; if they added the code target=“blank” , the signature will open in a new browser tab.
For instance:
<a href=“https://www.zazzle.com/store/yourprofile” target=“blank”>
Anyway, if you right-click on a signature (instead of clicking with the left button) and then choose “open in a new tab”, the new page will open in a second tab. If you chose “open in a new window”, the new page will open in its own browser window.
Thanks Cristina. Your work around is simple enough. But, I think consistency is important as it’s easier to just click on a link and go to a page. Newbies on the forum getting ushered away may get frustrated trying to find their way back to the page they were on. But thanks for posting the work around!!! I will use it next time. I totally forgot about that.
