I have a simple black and white design and the product mockup displays the coir mat as…brown and tan? I used the background option to make the background black and the type is set to white. What’s happening here?

Hie @ChromaMaven did you you finally get the answer as to why the coir doormats generic mockups are tan instead of the goldenish brownish color they are supposed to be? I’m kinda confused as to which mockups I should generate whether to keep the tan color in the mockups or to generate the actual color of coir doormats. I guess it would help if any creator as ever bought one and confirm how they actually look like

No. I might research a bit more to see if anyone has mentioned this here, or better yet, actually bought one to see what the color looks like.
@ChromaMaven it’s because you are setting your background color as black - the printing process will never produce a pure black coir mat as it’s a 100% natural fiber - black ink muddies the natural brown making it a darker brown.
Perhaps flip your design to make your typeface black and leave the beauty of the coir to be seen maybe?
