I have another collection marked Private, and so is not viewable to the public. Please tell me how to edit this and take a collection from Private to Public.

On your collection management page, look over on the right hand side at the two Collection Channels. Make sure those are enabled.

@smkshops Have you tried the Share option - sometimes that works?
Or changing the type
(press save then try sharing again using the icon)
If the products are new - they need to index (as does the collection)
YMMV and you may have to just create a new collection as this one could be borked ™

I did, and they were both enabled.
They are not new. Several of my collections are like this even though everything is enabled. I don’t understand why there isn’t a button to switch it from private to public, like there used to be. Every time they try to improve something it makes it less functional.
