complaints that now links aren't working for customers

Multiple Platform Issues Affecting Sales, Customer Access, and Product Accuracy

Hello Zazzle Team and fellow creators,

I’m posting here because several ongoing platform issues are now directly affecting my business, my customers, and my daily revenue. These problems have been happening simultaneously, and at this point they need immediate attention.

1. Minimum Order Increase The recent change in minimum quantities has significantly reduced customer conversions. This was implemented without notice, and it has had a measurable impact on sales across multiple product types.

2. New Upload Tool Causing Design Errors Since the new upload tool was released, my 18×24 designs are no longer aligning correctly. Files that were previously perfect are now showing white edges, shifting, or cropping incorrectly. These issues began only after the tool update and are not caused by my artwork.

3. Customers Receiving “Oh, something must have gone wrong” When Opening Links This is the most urgent issue. Customers are telling me they cannot open the product links I send them. They receive an error message instead of the listing. This directly prevents sales and has already resulted in a complete drop in orders today — something that has never happened in my shop since the day I opened.

These issues combined have cost significant time, money, and unnecessary stress. I am requesting:

  • Confirmation that these problems are being reviewed

  • Information on whether these issues are platform-wide

  • A timeline for resolution

My business depends on the reliability of this platform, and right now that reliability is compromised.

Thank you for your attention. I look forward to an update.

WHAT do we do is there anyone out there in tech that can look into this…I have not ever NOT EVER HAD sales in a day and today there have been zero. The customers are not going to buy the 6 minimum and now they can’t even see anything when they do click on the links.

They seem to check the ‘technical issues’ feed more often than the general discussion type ones. Since some of these are technical issue, you might want to post there.

I posted there as well and nothing.

Thank you

No advice, but if mods are reading, no.3 also  happened to my customers a few weeks ago.  It resolved itself the following day so I never posted about it.

It is still happening with me. In fact I just sent a customer one and she said it wouldn’t open. I am running a test on my Facebook page just now and asked people if they can open and see or not. For me to only have 2 sales in a day…unacceptable. I know how many sales I get a day. I am not happy. Thank you for responding.

OK @zazzle I am not on your tech team, but I have figured out what the issue is. Those with Androids aren’t able to open the links.

Do you think that someone can possible fix this now. I have lost enough business from this.

I THINK we have found the problem with those not being able to open links I did a test on my Facebook page this morning and those with Android phones can’t open links that are posted. I am not on the tech team but I sure wish that this could be looked at and fixed. Along with the other issues I am having all mentioned below.

THANK YOU

I have about 20 links out right now so I’m concerned as well! Glad you narrowed it down to andriods… fingers crossed it’s fixed soon!

I also posted in there again this morning because I figured out the problem with the links…those with Androids they won’t open.

DESPERATION has set in with no fixes in sight. This is still due from the first go round of changing of the papers. As you can see there are still the discontinued papers showing.  ALL OF them in this collection are wrong.

https://www.zazzle.com/vintage_pigs_dancing_waltzing_whiskers_decoupage_tissue_paper-256876420617069741?design.areas=[digiwrap_tissuepaper_21x29_front]

AND people not being able to open links that have Android phones. Please pass this to the tech team.

I know it is probably no reason to ask to have the 3 minimum added to the list but it never hurts to ask.

Thank you

The error page you included as a screenshot has typically occurred for users when they are trying to access Zazzle pages too repeatedly, too quickly or with too many Zazzle tabs open at once. I’ve encountered it myself when trying to check a product via multiple different browsers and others in the forum have reported encountering it, too. I would guess it may also occur when too many different users are accessing the same link in a short time frame. The intent seems to be to deter bot/automated script activity.
You haven’t included any of the links you say aren’t opening so no one, including the Mods/tech team can really offer you much feedback here. But I did check out your pig collection from above link, on my Android mobile phone, and had no issues viewing anything.

The discontinued sizes of tissue paper only show to designers viewing their own product.

Tissue Paper sizes changed from:

15x10 –> 14x10
15x20 –> 14x20
17x23 –> 18x24
21x29 (don’t know if this is a new size or was always an option)

The first two shrunk by an inch on one side so zero issue there if you were at least to the orig bleed lines. But the 17x23 increased by an inch in both directions so if you weren’t a little past the bleed lines before, you’d get the blank white edges (or whatever background color you used) showing. Just like so many other products on Zazzle where there are multiple size choices, one design placement might not work for all especially if they are not all the same ratio. For all-over bg images, one needs to make sure it’s sized to go past the bleed lines at every size. You can check this before publishing and adjust accordingly. Your above linked product doesn’t reach the bleedlines at any size, not even the 21x29 you have it published at.

Since I never sized any of mine exactly to the 17x23 size, I don’t know if Z automatically expanded all such designs a little to reach the bleed at 18x24 or not, but I do know none of my tissue papers were impacted by the change.

Ongoing Access and Upload Tool Issues Affecting My Designs

@ColsCreations   I appreciate you taking the time to check things OUT but I have sent links in with emails with no responses or fixes.

As for checking the design links repeatedly — no, they are still not working. I asked a few customers today at random, and they still can’t access the links. They’re using Android devices, have cleared their cache, and tried everything else.

You can see the frustration firsthand on my Facebook page — customers have been posting messages saying Zazzle is on their “S list.” I’m not trying to be unpleasant, but ever since the first ordeal with the paper size changes, it’s been a nightmare.

Here’s just one example of a link customers have shared multiple times on their pages and in our group, all showing the same error message: “Uh oh, something doesn’t look right.” https://www.zazzle.com/decoupage_stormwalker_ostrich_walking_in_faith_tissue_paper-256522620012250301

The same issue affects my pig collection — it all started when the paper sizes were changed. The designs still aren’t printing properly to the edge, even though every file was correctly sized with full bleed before the change.

Then came the upload tool update. I couldn’t use the tool because the green arrows for vertical and horizontal wouldn’t move. To upload, I had to go through a long workaround: find another design, click “other options,” transfer, select 10lb, scroll down to find the paper, switch to 18lb, remove the old design, and then add the new one.

All of my designs are properly sized. Yet one of my customers ordered this design: https://www.zazzle.com/decoupage_patriotic_highland_ballerina_tutu_tissue_paper-256379309841800007?size=18x24&design.areas=%5Bdigiwrap_tissuepaper_18x24_vert_front%5D&social=true&view=113062202102554994

She contacted support and was told the issue occurred during upload and that she’d need to fix it and reorder. That’s not true — she went in, fixed it herself, and paid again. She was understandably unhappy. Created: 2/23/2026

When I make a mistake, I take responsibility. James has helped me before, but this time no one seems willing to address these ongoing problems. I’ve emailed repeatedly and haven’t received a response.

At this point, I don’t know what else to do. My sales have dropped sharply, my customers are frustrated, and if this continues, they’ll have no choice but to move on.

Using my Samsung Android mobile, your links here in the forum and via your store directly are fine.

I found your Facebook and your  post from yesterday asking people to check the link. Using the Facebook Mobile app,  the the link returns the error page. But switching to opening the link in my browser instead (in my case Firefox for mobile) it’s fine. So the issue is stemming from Facebook’s app.

Since I’m on mobile now, I can’t look into this more til later.

P.S.

I checked a bunch of other links on your Facebook page, even one that went to one of your collections,  and the behavior is consistent: They all open to the error page via the Facebook app,  but they all work fine when opened with external browser.

I used my own Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/everythingcolscreations)) to post a link to my store, a collection, and an individual product. Using the Facebook app (Android version 555.0.0.49.59) they all open to the error page as do any other links to Zazzle I found scrolling around Facebook. Googling around,  apps that let you view links inside their own ecosystem, it’s called an in-app “WebView” which is a basically a really scaled down browser with limited features. There are numerous tech reasons links from in-app WebViews are often flagged as bot activity, which appears to be what Zazzle is doing, intentionally or not, with visits from Facebook’s in-app webview.

Until they get it sorted, tell your customers to just click the three little dots at upper right and then choose to open with external browser:

I just wanted to take a moment to say how truly thankful I am for the time and depth you put into helping me. There has been no one else … not even Zazzle… who has gone into this level of detail to figure out what’s happening and explain it so that I could actually understand and use.

Your explanation about Facebook’s in‑app WebView and how it flags Zazzle links as bot activity was eye‑opening and I would never have figured that out.  I’ve been struggling to find answers for weeks, and you solved it in one thoughtful message.

I can’t thank you enough for you to do this. People like you make this creative community stronger.

I will start sending out messages but what is so frustrating is all those that I can’t reach because we only know their first name, City, State, Country. I know I can send email on my platform but I have only had a few people tell me that they get those.

AGAIN thank you so much for your help. It is truly appreciated.
