Well, I am not really a pattern person but I was working on a duvet cover and wanted to actually put in on a bedspread rather than just show the pattern square, which is our only other alternative. So I went to an AI friend and we did our best – I think. The “I think” is what makes me a bit concerned. How do we know that it is accurate? Could we have a mockup that Zazzle produces that will truly approximate what the pattern will look like on a bed at a specific size? Sometimes I order my own products to make sure they are what I think they are – but I’m not doing that with a duvet cover – so I would feel much more comfortable if we were more sure that the mockup accurately reflected the pattern in real life application.

Duvet covers have always needed new in situ photos! I also have a hard time figuring out if I’m scaling my designs properly on my mockups of them and how they’ll look on the finished product.

Indeed, @VivianD117 . And I think it’s not just duvet covers, but almost every product: it’s hard to get a real sense of sizes. I think it would help if the “design tool” (sorry, don’t get me started :-)) would have a grid with actual dimensions both in inches and centimeters. I already reported this issue with staff, but did not get that they are interested and assuming that it’s just me having this issue.
