Custom Links to Customers No Longer Working

I very often help customers modify their invitations, and now all custom links are no longer working as of yesterday.

Not being able to send customer’s short links to a customized product they need help with or had a special request for is a very big issue that will impact sales.

Can we please get an update on when this will be fixed?

I’ve been trying for a day to share links with a customer who needs help and all I get when she shares a link with me is the blank product. Is this what you’re seeing? I thought she was somehow doing something wrong, but now I’m thinking it’s a bug. This is a big problem. If Zazzle wants us to help customers, they need to fix this quickly!

Yes, the custom link just sends the customer to a blank product, instead of what I’ve customized for them…

Team Z, any word on when this will be fixed? It is a pretty big bug!

Can you please share an example link with me?

Here’s a sample link I just created: https://www.zazzle.com/z/p7wvvg1m

When I look at it, it seems fine, so I’m not sure what happens when someone else looks at it. I have links sent from the customer, but I don’t want to share those publicly since it includes her private info. I can send them to you through chat if you like.

This should be fixed tomorrow night when we update our website. Apologies for the disruption here.

Hi Scott,

Here is an example link: https://www.zazzle.com/z/9pgtourl

Like Cat mentioned, it looks fine on my end too, but the customer only sees a blank product.

Yep, your link appears blank on my end.

Thank you!! I have a few customers awaiting for some help…

Yay! So it looks like the custom links are working again… BUT, it doesn’t appear that the referral code is automatically being added when I checked out the long url…

Example of the short custom link:
https://www.zazzle.com/z/av49l4j7

Need to add your referral code:
https://www.zazzle.com/z/av49l4j7 ?rf=238505862367157591

Will we be needing to add this manually now?
Or will this be updated soon so us designers don’ t have to manually add it?

Please let us know, thanks :slightly_smiling_face:

If you see a share URL that has a /z/ then it automatically includes your referral information. No need to add it afterwards. You can if you want, but it’s completely unnecessary.
