Custom text/photos not updating in the new customer design tool

In the new customer design tool, customizing text /photos doesn’t always refresh in the design area for products using “Horizontal” tiling.

• it updates correctly for the first text/photo you enter. But, subsequent edits don’t update the design area; the original content remains visible after you click outside the text field.
• it is correct in the preview, but not when you return to the design area.
• it does correct itself if you refresh the window.

I’ve tried it in both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

Thanks @James , it’s happening for all my designs with ‘Horizontal’ tiling.

Thanks @James , I’ve tested some of my products, and it depends on which version of the customer design tool I get.

But, this design tool shown below still has the issue:
