I’ve noticed that the “designed by” for a collection now shows our name and not the store name. Do we really want it that way? I just went in to see if we had a choice in the back end and we don’t seem to. I thought we would want the branding impact of having the store name appear and some people might not want their names. I think the way it shows the collection itself it wonderful and understand much more clearly the direction we are headed in, but that piece puzzles me.
Not linking’curated collections’ that include other designers products to the sellers who curated the collection is a great idea and it solves the problem noted in my thread. BUT … as Zazzlers would (I assume) like their OWN product related collections linked to their store or profile a compromise could be thus:
The 'curated collections featuring multiple designer products could instead NOT have any attribution/link OR link them instead to one of Zazzle’s own member accounts. If Zazzle has no such accounts, perhaps create one for this purpose. This way affiliates can continue to curate collections (very important) and individual designers do not have the concern that their products might be used to ‘bump’ other creators stores in the marketplace.
I don’t mind that they are assigned to our profiles, although I do prefer that they are assigned to our stores. What I do mind is that we must have our name as a profile. I would prefer a username/business name instead and then people may add their full name if they prefer. With so much identify theft about, we should be given the option to protect our personal details. The admin in this forum go by only their first names to protect their privacy and yet designers were suddenly forced to expose themselves to the world a few years back. It makes me uncomfortable, given that I’ve already been a victim of ID fraud.
Hi — you need to sign out and then select a collection that you have done the cover, etc for. Click on a product in that collection and then scroll down and you will it. It is not a wedding event — it is a birthday. I’m trying to send you a 2nd example.
I tried to find it for one of my collections but couldn’t, probably because, even though what I checked were active ones, none of them are event-oriented and so don’t have the new layout. Anyway, I think that’s what’s going on.
