Different Date Stamps for Earnings & Transaction History Report vs Royalty History Report

I’m sure this has happened to me on at least one previous occasion a few years ago.

I made a couple of sales this morning after midnight.
In the Earnings & Transactions History and the Royalty by Product reports, they show up with the date stamp 06/30/2022.

But in the Royalty History report, they show up with the date stamp 7/1/2022 @ 12:17:24 AM.

When monthly payouts are done, are they are based on the Earnings & Transactions History report?
If that is the case, those two sales that happened on 7/1/2022 @ 12:17:24 AM should actually be on the June 2022 payout.

The Royalty History has always lagged at least a little bit behind the Earnings list, sometimes even more than a little bit, so your question is both good and interesting.

Hey @WHS_Designs ,

We had a question similar to this earlier in the year.

I believe the two pages are using slightly different time zones which is why they appear at the different times on each page around midnight. There is nothing wrong with the actual royalty itself though.

@Mark   I think WHS’s underlying question is about that touchy period between the last day of one month and the first day of the next month. Which is pulled for any specific month–the Earnings list date or the Royalty list date?

Thanks for catching that, @Barbara .

@WHS_Designs  I have reached out to the team about this now. I will let you know once I have any update.

thanks (x2), Barbara!

appreciate it, @Mark  !

Hello @Barbara  @Mark

I had this scenario happen to me again in October 2022.

My first sale of November had a date stamp of November 1, 2022, at 12:55:54 am.

That sale was paid out along with my October 2022 earnings (in December 2022).

So earnings incurred on the first day of the following month before 1:00 am are paid out as part of the previous month’s earnings.

Earnings must be paid out from the Earnings History Report (otherwise referral earnings will not be captured).

Hope this explanation helps anyone else who has experienced the same thing!
