When creating a drawstring bag product, no default Marketplace Department is suggested when filling in the details on the ‘Post Product For Sale’ page.
I manually set the department to Accessories/Bags & Wallets/Backpacks, which is fine, but I’ve had no sales of these products. I find this a bit surprising as they seem like something that would sell and so I wonder if the lack of a default department is impacting search results.
@MadjackGG
I just did a search as a customer would,using the top search bar for drawstring bags, here’s the path it gave—-(exactly as you mentioned) so they are easily found in search on the dot com site.
Accessories/Bags & Wallets/Backpacks>drawstring bags
i just created a drawstring bag and the marketplace placement automatically put it in the above path as I was creating then posted it. I checked after it posted, still correct path, as above. Possibly I am misunderstanding about your not getting the default choice when you create the bag.
Are you saying you feel that it’s a tech issue?
About the sales issue, maybe the lack of sales has to do with the nz domain not being as active/promoting products as the zazzle dot com domain. Possibly something to consider, you may be on to something about the domain and lack of sales.

When I go to create a drawstring bag, the marketplace placement is set to nothing by default.
I then have to manually set it to Accessories/Bags & Wallets/Backpacks.
It probably has nothing to do with my having sold no drawstring bags, but it does seem to be a (minor) bug with the .co.nz domain.
