Earnings Aren't showing up in Pending Total on Earnings Summary Report

I’ve been noticing over the last few days that sales appearing in both the Earnings History and Royalty History reports don’t seem to be reflected in the total pending amount shown on the Earnings Summary report. I thought maybe there were just a bunch of cancellations or something that was keeping the pending amount from going up as much as it should have. But it started to feel like a LOT of cancellations must be happening, so I downloaded the earnings history and totaled up all the pending transactions, and it’s significantly more than what’s showing on my Earnings Summary Report - like something on the order of 20% of the pending earnings seem to be missing from the pending total on the Earnings Summary Report. The amount listed as pending on the Earnings Summary is supposed to equal the total of all pending transactions, right?

Am I misunderstanding the reports or is something wonky going on? Is the summary report maybe just behind? Has anyone else noticed this?

I’d appreciate it if a mod could clarify and/or look into this for me. Thanks!

You have to reset that list to show “all earnings.” It keeps defaulting to “last month.”

Which report? The one with the (apparent) missing data is this one: https://www.zazzle.com/my/earnings/summary There isn’t a way to filter that one is there?

The data I downloaded came from this report: https://www.zazzle.com/my/earnings/history and I filtered it to include all transactions since 12/1/2025 - then I totaled up everything that was still pending and it was WAY more than the pending amount on the summary report. The sum of pending transactions from the earnings history report should equal the pending amount on the summary report shouldn’t it? I’m so confused!

@Cat  I noticed some sales are still showing as pending in https://www.zazzle.com/my/earnings/history however they are showing as cleared in https://www.zazzle.com/my/earnings/royaltyhistory so maybe that could be the reason the amounts are different?

The Earning History report also includes pending payments where as the Royalty History doesn’t

My earnings History is showing many since 10/29 as still pending. 😳

Maybe that’s it. I REALLY wish we could see cancelled transactions on a separate line because it would save sooo much confusion. I just kept seeing things like there would be $50 worth of new sales in the royalty report, but the summary would only go up by $20. It could be cancellations, but honestly with this reporting system there’s just no way to know.

@Cat   You can filter by cancellations in https://www.zazzle.com/my/earnings/history and download just the cancelled if needed

It’s annoying that cancellations are no longer able to be downloaded (or even seen) via https://www.zazzle.com/my/earnings/royaltyhistory

But they have said “improvements coming soon” for the reporting system but that was last year 😂

Yeah, but that still doesn’t tell you the date it was cancelled, does it? So unless you download your transactions daily and compare them each day, I don’t think there’s any way to tell when the cancellation happened, or am I missing something?

@Cat  true - doesn’t give you a date of that cancellation. I do make a note of daily transactions (if any) so can keep track of which date something is cancelled but that doesn’t help you (sorry 🤗)

RE: Cancellations -

I just had a newish order Cancelled. I opened the eye symbol on the right of the Royalty History for that Item.

At the Bottom of the Transaction Details Section (before the Royalty Breakdown) there is a line that shows the Canceled/Returned Date

At the top of this section for this cancellation:

Order Date

12/20/2025, 10:05:06 AM

At the bottom:

Canceled/Returned Date

1/5/2026, 8:16:07 PM

Thanks! That’s helpful… well, sorta. You still have to find the transaction and open it individually to find that info, but at least the information is there if you’re willing to do the work to find it.

I still think it would be sooo much better if they would just create a separate ledger line for the cancellation like normal accounting programs do. (Not holding my breath but a girl can dream, right? 😉)

Well anyway, thanks for the info!

Yes please!!!

In my earning report, I have 12 sales, also with many discrepancies and errors. I have 12 sales that are in pending mode, which should be in clarification mode. Among them, sales from 10/21/25 and even 7/5/25 in the royalty report are in clarification status, but it looks like they’re not included in the earning summery! At the same time, the transaction summary in the “earning report” often shows a higher number of transactions (as if there were new sales), but no actual sales are visible.
