I can’t get rid of the Thank You in the Title. After publishing, I edited and changed the category again, edited the Title again and Thank You stays in the title after saving. I know I can easily start from scratch and make the card, but this is bugging me and I’d like to know if there is a fix. Thanks for any suggestions.
Hi @itsMolly usually if you just add the word “card” at the end of your title ie after “congratulations” in your case here, this should prevent the words “Thank You Card” being added automatically to the end. I hope this works for you.
Thank you so much. I’ve been doing it this way for a long time, usually in holiday collections. Merry Christmas card to a thank you to save time because of the work I put into the original card. Thanks for the helpful link.
You’re right. Maybe the short cut is not always the best. Lesson learned.
To save time what I usually do is transfer the card to the new correct card. For example, if I have a wedding invitation and want to make a Save the Date card, I transfer the invitation to the save the date blank. This ensures that the title will populate correctly and show up in the same category, while also saving time by having the whole design done already.
@itsMolly I would definitely go this route if it was my design. None of us are entirely sure how Zazzle’s search algorithm works, but it’s been my experience that products created on the wrong blank seldom sell well - even if you list it in the correct department and correct the title. So, if it’s a new product without a bunch of sales, you’d be much better off putting it on the correct product now rather than creating something that will be handicapped from the get go.
